Next week, I’m packing up my car and hitting the road. This first leg of my book tour is taking me south and I couldn’t be more excited. One of my biggest regrets about my last tour was the fact that I didn’t manage to get anywhere further south than Washington, D.C. and so when planning for this time, it was an absolutely priority.
I’ll be stopping in Charlottesville, Asheville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Memphis. If you live in one of those cities please do come out and say hi.

would love for you to come to Louisville and demo at our famers market.
I used to think a knife was a knife, but when you get a good one, you can tell the difference. I have one go to knife I probably overuse, and a drawer full of ones I should probably discard.
When are you going to be in the northwest? It is beautiful here.
Come to Cincinnati – there’s tons of us in the Midwest!
I have marked my calendar for your Memphis stop! I hope you get a chance to see this fascinating city, and there are a lot of amazing restaurants….Hog and Hominy may be my favorite! (GQ agrees)! Looking forward to this!
Safe travels !! I know you will NEVER make it to my neck of the woods – FARGO !!!
Sure wish you could make it to South Florida. My Momma canned every chance she could get. My Dad had a huge garden in our yard but we took advantage of the fields all around use long ago. My Dad even made dill pickles in a huge crock. Those were the days. Please come on down and vacation in the Keys!!
Are you coming to the Southwest at all? Like, Southern Arizona?
Awww, no Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill stop? Lots of preservers out here – we’d love to see you!
We’d love to see you in Oklahoma!
If you have time in Asheville, stop in to Biscuit Head (http://www.biscuitheads.com/) for breakfast. We went with my sister in law when we visited last October and the food is amazing AND they make their own preserves (and sell them!). I think you’d love it!
Thanks for the suggestion, Mel! I will try to get there!
Not south enough, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater area.!
Gainesville! Ocala! The Villages!
Florida is in need of pretty produce preserving all year round!
Looking forward to your Charlottesville stop!
Yay! So excited. I’m in Atlanta, and will definitely be attending one of the events…now just to choose which one! Can’t wait to meet you. 🙂
Oh…I wish I lived closer to Birmingham! I’m down in Mobile so it would be an all nighter getting back home on a school night. On your next go-round, come even further south.
Oh, if only I lived closer to one of your book tour stops. :{
Wishing you the very best on your tours.
