Last summer when I was traveling to promote Preserving by the Pint, I filmed a few short videos with Rebecca Gerendasy from Cooking up a Story. Earlier this week, she posted the final video from that shoot. In it, I demonstrate how to prepare and preserve a few roasted red peppers.

just made these tonight – excited to have these in the pantry! also, picked up a great tip from your video: using a rubber band to hold open the cookbook. works like a charm. 🙂
Can’t wait to make these, I noticed that you used red wine vinegar in the video and white wine vinegar in the recipe. Do you have a taste preference? pH is the same?
The pH is the same. It was simply a matter of what was available. Use whichever you prefer.
