Cooking With Mavea: Pickled Carrot and Daikon

Cooking with MAVEA: Pickled Carrots & Daikon with Food in Jars from MAVEA Inspired Water on Vimeo.

While I work on meeting a couple of freelance deadlines, I though I’d post another one of the videos I made with Mavea back in February. In this video we made the pickled carrots and daikons that I initially posted about during the Tigress Can Jam back in 2010. They are really tasty eating!

  • These videos are GREAT Marisa, thank you so much! My husband watched the video and says to me, “You have no right to say our kitchen is too small!” So true. But I love your set up, and you definitely know your way around the kitchen. 🙂

  • Awesome! One question, though. Do you need to slice the carrots thin like that or could you put them in as bigger chunks?

  • What a great resource. I love how clear and concise you are in the video. Thank you for sharing!

  • This reminds me of the pickles you see at Indian restaurants that have carrots and tamarind in them. I would love to see a post on Indian pickles!
