I’m bringing back the habit of featuring photos from the Food in Jars Flickr group on Sunday evenings. Here are a few pretties from the last few weeks. If you’d like to see your photo featured in this site, please head over to Flickr, join the group and start adding your images.
An assortment of homemade goodness that Karen made last season, posted as inspiration for this canning season. She blogs at Short Story Long.
Candy’s black raspberry sage jam. She blogs at Dessert by Candy.
Gorgeous ginger peach jam and lavender peach butter from Gypsy Forest. Find her blog here.
Aimee’s strawberry jam with honey. Find the recipe over here at Simple Bites.
Homemade pickles from Michelle who blogs at Give a Girl a Fig.
And finally, some blackberry syrup that Wendi made. Check out all her lovely preserving posts at Bon Appetit Hon.
thanks for the round up! Everything looks delicious!
Hey thanks! What a nice surprise!! And now…I must go to the group and mark a few more photos as Favorites! Thanks for sharing…so much goodness out there!
Those all look gorgeous! I’ve tried jams twice and once was too firm, the second was too runny. Is it just practice, practice, practice? I’d love to can something like these!
Practice and devour the delicious mistakes along the way! I have sometimes longed for the taste of a “not quite set” jelly or jam from years past.
Thank you for featuring one of my jams! It’s been a busy season so far. 🙂
New (to me) blogs to read! Exciting!
Peachy Keen. Thanks for sharing that photo 🙂
All of these images are getting me inspired for this year’s jams, fruit butters, pickles and whatever else I manage to squeeze in. 🙂
Beautiful round-up and thank you for including my strawberry honey jam!
