I promised another giveaway and here it is! This week, I have a lovely assortment of Microplane products for one lucky winner. I’ve been a Microplane user now for nearly ten years and love, love, love their kitchen tools. There’s nothing like their original rasp for grating fresh nutmeg and zesting citrus and the larger graters are fantastic for grating cheese, carrots, potatoes and more.
This gift basket includes one of those original rasps with a cheery red handle as well as the extra course grater
.
There’s also their new adjustable cheese plane (it’s awfully snazzy) and a cheese mill
, good for grating harder cheeses.
The last thing in the basket is a Microplane pizza cutter. The thing that makes this the pizza cutter to top all pizza cutters is that it comes apart for easy cleaning. I use mine often, to score crackers before baking, to slice pastry dough or, this time of year, to cut my favorite holiday cookie. If you’re interesting in a chance to win this assortment of Microplaneproducts, here’s what to do.
- To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post and share one gift you’re hoping to receive this holiday season (tangible or intangible).
- Comments will close at 11:59 pm eastern time on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Winner will be chosen at random (using random.org) and will be posted to the blog on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
- Giveaway is open to U.S. residents only (apologies to my more far-flung readers).
- One entry/comment per person, please.
For more opportunities to win Microplane products, make sure to like their Facebook page. They frequently host giveaways of their new and classic products.
I’m hoping for a new knife set!
What I want more than anything is a good night’s sleep. But if I can’t have that, I’d love to win the microplane.
Usually I don’t have anything on my Christmas list. I feel like my life is already so blessed with healthy kids, fun job, long time best friend/hubby, goats, ducks, etc…but, the one thing I asked for this year is new kitchen knives. The ones I use were wedding presents (from the early 80’s).
A hard to find gift of quiet time
Wow..so many comments! I’m hoping for a new stockpot–and good company around the table for eating the soups I want to make.
For Christmas this year all I want is all of the wedding planning to be finalized (1.13.12) so I can enjoy some time with friends, family & my fiance without worrying about the details!
I love Microplane! On my wish list are tons of cookbooks, as well as a Le Creuset tea kettle.
I already got my Christmas present – I got to go to Ladies Rock Camp (a fundraiser for Girls Rock & Roll Camp) and got so excited that my husband bought me my own bass guitar and amplifier. My Christmas present to myself is going to be lessons!
I am really hoping for some new supplies or a GC to make more jewelry!
This will be our first Christmas in NC (after moving from AK.) It’s far-fetched, but all I really want is a white Christmas! 🙂
However, a microplane grater has been on my “to-purchase” list for entirely too long, so winning this would be fantastic!
Sneaking in right at the end here! I’m really just hoping for a larger crock pot. I’ve really gotten into using the small one I have that it would be wonderful to be able to cook larger batches of things to freeze. 🙂
