I promised another giveaway and here it is! This week, I have a lovely assortment of Microplane products for one lucky winner. I’ve been a Microplane user now for nearly ten years and love, love, love their kitchen tools. There’s nothing like their original rasp for grating fresh nutmeg and zesting citrus and the larger graters are fantastic for grating cheese, carrots, potatoes and more.
This gift basket includes one of those original rasps with a cheery red handle as well as the extra course grater
.
There’s also their new adjustable cheese plane (it’s awfully snazzy) and a cheese mill
, good for grating harder cheeses.
The last thing in the basket is a Microplane pizza cutter. The thing that makes this the pizza cutter to top all pizza cutters is that it comes apart for easy cleaning. I use mine often, to score crackers before baking, to slice pastry dough or, this time of year, to cut my favorite holiday cookie. If you’re interesting in a chance to win this assortment of Microplaneproducts, here’s what to do.
- To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post and share one gift you’re hoping to receive this holiday season (tangible or intangible).
- Comments will close at 11:59 pm eastern time on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Winner will be chosen at random (using random.org) and will be posted to the blog on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
- Giveaway is open to U.S. residents only (apologies to my more far-flung readers).
- One entry/comment per person, please.
For more opportunities to win Microplane products, make sure to like their Facebook page. They frequently host giveaways of their new and classic products.

Is it too much to ask for an end to global warming? OK; I’ll settle for a food mill.
I’m hoping just to spend time with family and friends relaxing and having fun!
