  • Last year was the 1st time I ever made pickles. I used Mrs. Wage’s Dill Pickle mix and these were the hit of every dinner I had. My favorite all time pickle are Bread and Butter Pickles and I plan on making them this year along with some more Dill Pickles. My mouth is watering already. I can’t wait!!!

  • My favorite pickles are made by the restaurant Tattooed Moose in Charleston, SC. Wish I knew the recipe!

  • I love pickles! The very first canning book I bought was called Pickled, and I’ve made a bunch of things from it. But of all the pickle recipes I’ve made, my short list of favorites includes Bread and Butter Zucchini, Spicy Pickled Beets and just about any pickled fruit. In fact, I’ve been on a pickled fruit kick for the past 2 weeks or so, making pineapple, spicy pineapple, nectarines, plums and cherries.

  • Your pickled green cherry tomatoes. I made first time last year and I love these. Thanks.
My favorite Mrs Wages is green beans

  • I have been canning pickles for 20yrs. I learned to can from my mother. My favorite pickles are bread and butter.

  • I’ve never had homemade pickles but I’ve been canning for 3 years now and want to try my hand at it. I’m nervous about making mushy pickles, but would be sure to put Mrs Wages to the test! Currently, my family’s favorite pickles are Bubbies brand.

  • My favorite pickle is bread and butter but I have not gotten brave enough to make them myself. I would love to can some.

  • My favorite pickle to make is bread and butter pickles. They turn out every time and taste great. I especially love the onions in them. I have been thinking about using my bread and butter pickle recipe to pickle the onions with no cucumbers.

  • Last fall, I converted carrots and jalapeños into Kevin West’s taqueria pickles and they have been a delightful addition to our taco nights!

  • Dilly beans are my fave! Waiting to try some quick pickled Swiss chard stems that I just put in the fridge.

  • My favorite pickles are my grandma’s hot dill pickles. I’ve tried making them myself, but they’re just never quite as good as hers.

  • I have a great recipe for homemade refrigerator bread and butter pickles…the family favorite! Still trying to find a great dill pickle recipe though!

  • Dilly beans are my favourite processed pickle. My favourite quick pickle is either kohlrabi or sugar snap peas with garlic & ginger.

    Yum yum yum!

  • Isn’ it wonderful when bounty and abundance serves as a source of inspiration? A little pickling salt, some pickling lime, and awesome spice mixes added to whatever my garden provides. My canning began with pickles. For years my Great Aunt would send me half-a-dozen jars of the most wonderful pickles. When she retired from canning she sent me her red wing crock and the recipe. Now it’s my turn! A girl couldn’t have asked for a better more generous gift.

  • This the first year that I have my own vegetable garden. I want to learn how to can. Reading everyone’s comments has me even more excited. Would love to try everyone’s pickles. LOL! Love pickles and well just everything.

  • My two favorite pickles that I make: traditional brined sweet gherkins & quick processed oniony sweet spears, which are great alongside – or on top of – hot dogs.

  • I love the classic Ball refridgerator dill pickle brine. We have about six jars going at a time in the summer!

  • My mom makes bread and butter pickles every year, which I love! I’d like to try making my own garlic dill pickles, they’re my favorite!

  • I am just returning to canning after a long time. My favorite pickles are Lime Pickles made with Mrs. Wages mix of course. Mmmmm they make you want to pucker up !
Thank You for this opportunity to win this wonderful basket.

  • My favorite pickle is the spicy bread and butter I made last summer with a Mrs. Wage’s mix. Just a hit of spice it amazing!!
