Saturday, July 14 – Hands on canning workshops at the United States Botanic Garden. 10:30 am – 12:30 pm and 1:30 – 3:30 pm. Free. Details here.

Saturday, July 21 – Hands on canning workshop at Frinklepod Farm (Arundel, ME). 10 am – 2 pm. $70. Register here.

Tuesday, July 31 – Canning workshop at Miele Experience Center (Princeton, NJ). Details to come.

Wednesday, August 1 – Pickling demo at the Rachel Kohl Community Library (Glen Mills, PA). 7-8 pm. Free.

August 3-5 – Weekend-long canning workshop at the Omega Institute (Rhinebeck, NY). This in an in-depth, hands on workshop in which we’ll make 12-14 various preserves. Participates will go home with a box of jams, pickles, etc and the knowledge to replicate the work at home. Details here.

Wednesday, August 15 – Stone fruit canning class at the Culinary Literacy Center of the Free Library of Philadelphia. 6-8 pm. $15. Sign up here.

Monday, September 17 – Sunflower seed butter workshop at the Mullica Hill Library (Mullica Hill, NJ). 7-8:30 pm. Free.

Livestream Canning Sessions

On the first and third Mondays of the month at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT, you’ll find me offering free, live canning demos over on the Food in Jars Facebook page. I demonstrate how to make a seasonal recipe and answer all your questions. The next livestream is on Monday, July 2, 2018. Join me!

Public Demos and Workshops

I am available to teach canning demos at libraries, festivals, and other public events. Fees for those services vary. I am currently booking dates for the balance of 2018.
