  • Saturday, October 17 – A jam making and canning basics class at the Morris Arboretum, using a batch of pear vanilla jam to demonstrate. 10 am – 12 noon. Registration information.
  • Monday, October 19 – A free apple cranberry compote demo at the Gloucester County Library’s Mullica Hill Branch. 7 to 8:30 pm. I’ll have books to sell and sign.
  • Monday, November 23 – A class at the Free Library of Philadelphia entitled “Fall in Love with Preserving.” I’ll demonstrate how to make both a classic cranberry sauce and a cranberry apple jam. Each participant will go home with small jars of each preserve. There is a fee for this class and you can sign up here.

Public Demos and Workshops

I am available to teach canning demos at libraries, festivals, and other public events. Fees for those services vary. I am currently booking dates for Spring 2016. If you’re interested in booking me for an event, please drop me a note at for more information or to inquire about pricing and availability.
