Strawberry vanilla jam making workshop at Valley Variety in Hudson. Low sugar jam making and boiling water bath canning basics. A good class for beginners and those who need a skills refresh. All participants will go home with a jar of the jam we make together. $80. Register here.

Sunday, April 29, 1-3 pm (Philadelphia, PA)
Curious about fermentation? This introductory class will teach you the basics of fermenting vegetables using a salt brine. We’ll put theory into practice and make fermented radishes and everyone will go home with a jar. $40/45. Register here (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
Saturday, June 2, 11 am-1:30 pm and 2:30-5 pm (Hillsdale, NY)
I’m returning to Hillsdale Home Chef for a pair of classes. In the morning, join me for a strawberry centric water bath class. In the afternoon, I’ll be focusing on pressure canning. $70.
Livestream Canning Sessions
On the first and third Mondays of the month at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT, you’ll find me offering free, live canning demos over on the Food in Jars Facebook page. I demonstrate how to make a seasonal recipe and answer all your questions. The next livestream is on Monday, March 19, 2018. Join me!
Public Demos and Workshops
I am available to teach canning demos at libraries, festivals, and other public events. Fees for those services vary. I am currently booking dates for all of 2018.
